Building Information

Frame Type: Determine the correct frame type from those listed.

Gable Symmetrical: A ridged (double slope) building in which the ridge is in the center of the building.

Gable Non-Symmetrical: A ridged (double slope) building in which the ridge is off-center.

Single Slope: A building that has a slope in only one direction.

Lean-To: A single-slope building with no high side columns. Must tie to an existing building with the same bay spacing.

Column Type: Determine the correct column type - straight or tapered. Column depth will be as designed by Heritage Building Systems. You may request column depth limitations if needed.

Interior Columns: Determine if you want interior columns. If you choose "Interior Columns Required" a screen will follow that allows you to specify the spacings of those columns.

Girt Type: Specify girt type for each wall of the building. The standard girt condition at an endwall is flush. However, by-pass girts may be provided if required. This information must be provided even if the walls are open, so that we may properly locate the sidewall columns in relation to the steel line.

Use straps for Purlin & Girt Support? Please indicate whether it is acceptable to use straps for additional support of the purlin and girts. If you do not have a preference, choose yes. If you choose no, the girts will be beefed-up to compensate for the lack of straps.

Low Girt option: Choosing this option will supply you with an additional girt, at standard elevation, at all sheeted walls.
