Closures

Closure strip is the material used to fill the voids created by the ribs on the various panels supplied on the metal building. The ribbed panel roofs uses closures made from a lamination of cross-linked, closed cell polyethylene cut to match the panel profile.

The standing seam roofing system uses a heavy gauge metal closure formed to fit the rib opening. The outside closures on the standing seam roofing system are unpainted on Galvalume-Plus panels and painted on roof panels that have a painted finish. The inside closures because of their location on the eaves are always unpainted.
