Lean-To Tie-In Condition
When your building type is a Lean-To, you must specify what lean-to tie-in condition that you will be using for the building.
The tie-in conditions are:
Follow The Roof - Lap Roof Sheets: Use this condition when you want the Lean-To to start at the eave, and follow the slope of the main building. NOTE: Use this condition only when you are sure that the main building and the Lean-To have roof sheets of identical profiles. |
Follow The Roof - Roof Sheets Will Not Lap. Use Tie-In Flashing Use this condition when you want the Lean-To to start at the eave of the main building and the sheets will not lap. NOTE: If you are not sure of what roof sheet profile is on the main building, use this condition if the tie-in is at the eave of the main building. The Lean-To highside eave height should be approximately 3" below the eave of the main building. Tie-in flashing will be provided to maintain a uniform appearance. |
Below Eave - Use Tie-In Flashing Use this condition when the Lean-To ties in below the eave of the main building. Tie-in flashing will be supplied to provide a uniform appearance. |
In addition, if the building to which you are tying is not in the current order, you will need to complete one of the following sheets, depending on the type of building to which you are connecting.
