Insulation and Thickness:
If there is no insulation in the walls of the building, choose "None". However, if there will be blanket insulation in the walls of the building, you need to specify the thickness that will be used. You need to specify the thickness even if the insulation is by others. Choose "Included" if you want Manufacturer to provide the blanket insulation. NOTE: The minimum thickness of insulation that Manufacturer can provide is 3". NOTE: If the insulation is by others, and the insulation thickness being provided is not listed, use the next highest thickness, and make a note in the SPECIAL NOTES section. If insulation other than blanket is to be used or provided (i.e. rigidboard, low-e or facings other than non-reinforced white vinyl, consult the building manufacturer.
Fastener:
Specify either self-drilling or self-tapping. Self-drilling is our standard fastener.
Head Finish:
Choose standard, long life, or stainless. A long life or stainless fastener is recommended when a finish warranty is desired. Consult building manufacturer for technical information on fastener finish.
